Some mushrooms look delicious (even when deadly). Some look dangerous (even some which are tasty). Then there’s Entoloma madidum, the Brightsky (or Blue) Pinkgill (it has a reddish-pink spore print), which, with its vivid, light to neon-blue cap, looks like it fell straight out of a fantasy RPG (or another dimension).
Thought to indicate high quality grassland, the Brightsky Pinkgill is an extremely rare mushroom variety in more than just appearance - and is difficult to differentiate from other Entoloma species, often requiring genetic testing to establish taxonomy. This tee features an original illustration by renowned mycologist Geoffrey Kibby (used with permission) and is embroidered in brilliant, true-to-life colour.
Let this shirt be your way of wearing a conversation starter, field-guide flex, and love of mycological magic – all in one!
