Collection: Mushroom Caps

Do you have any idea how much it has taken us not to call this bit Liberty Caps or something? I mean, if we weren't, like, really old. To the extent that it would be quite sad and try-hard. We totally would have. Because, well, you know, we're so cool. Okay, were. Were a little cool. We thought we were a little cool. Shut up. You're crying. You are. You're the one that's crying. We're selling hats. Successfully. A little successfully. We think we're selling hats a little successfully.

Available mushroom caps

There aren’t a terribly large number of mushroom caps at the moment, because it turns out it’s quite hard to sort out the manufacture of caps. Good ones, at least. We were able to get one pretty quickly, but the embroidery was less mushroomy and more genital than we would have hoped. So we are where we are. With two (and counting) mushroomy caps embroidered with the scientifically accurate full colour sketches of renowned mushroom person, Mr. Geoffrey Kibby and one of the most metal mushroom of any non-actually-metal-mushrooms - the Devil's Fingers.

All of the caps we sell are made to order, so the delivery takes a bit longer to get to you than it probably could do. That being said, they also boast the following specifications (they don’t half boast, you can barely shut them up):

  • Made from 100% cotton
  • They’re soft-structured
  • They’re five panel and low profile (so they sit properly on your head, rather than those other ones that look like they’re perched on top and only missing a small propellor to complete the look)
  • Metal eyelets so they don’t rip (well, they will rip, but you’ll have to put some effort in)
  • Nylon strap clip closure (none of those plastic buttony things here)

We’re working on getting some more designs (well, we say ‘working’, we plan to be working, which is essentially the same thing) soon. The first task was getting the Devil’s Fingers design up, because I really want that one, and that’s the important thing. But we’re definitely planning to be working on more.
